Super Oil Base Semi Gloss Enamel is durable and fast drying, thus helps in protecting the interior as well as exterior surfaces against the repeated rust, and a variety of chemicals.

Details :

Surface Preparation :

  • Allow latest plaster, masonry and stucco to cure for one month at least.
  • With the use of commercial cleaner remove oil, grease stains and dirt for interior as well as exterior surfaces.
  • Make sure that all peeling and loose paints are removed
  • Remove caulk; scuff sand glossy surfaces
  • Repair blemishes and sand smooth
  • For exterior surfaces, power-wash to remove chalk
  • Rust, oxide deposits, millscale flaking or loose paint or other foreign substance on metal surface should be removed as per the requirements of the selected system, then use primer, sealer or undercoat as required

Application :

  • Use product when air and surface temperatures are between 4-32°C.
  • Stir before and during application. When working with more than one can of the same product, intermix to ensure colour uniformity.
  • Use adequate ventilation during application & drying process. Certain colours may require more than one coat to achieve complete hide and coverage.
  • Apply a thin coat using a high quality bristle brush, 1/4-3/8" nap roller or an airless sprayer (0.013-0.015 spray tip) at a spread rate of 11-13 m2 per litre over primed smooth surfaces and 8-10 m2 per litre over primed rough surfaces.
  • Dilution ratio of paint with white spirit depends on temperature, surface and painting tools.

First Aid :

  • On feeling difficulty while breathing, leave the place and get fresh air. If continuous difficulty is felt, rush to receive medical assistance at once.
  • If hair or skin contact takes place, right away remove the contaminated and wash hair and skin thoroughly in running water.
  • If case redness, swelling, blistering or irritation occurs, get medical assistance.
  • Wash out immediately with water, if paint gets in contact with the eyes. In all cases of eye contamination it is a sensible precaution to seek medical advice.

Clean Up :

  • Use mineral spirits.
  • Correctly dispose of all soiled rags.
  • Protect the unused product from freezing.
  • Contact the household refuse collection service, for the disposal of unused paint products.

Dry Time :

  • DDries to the touch in 4-5 hours at 25°C and 50% humidity.
  • Longer dry time required in cooler temperatures and higher humidity.
  • Recoat in 24 hours.
  • Wait at least 7 days before rinsing or cleaning the surface with a mild, non-abrasive detergent.

Important Considerations:

  • The can must not be opened without reading the above-said instructions.
  • If you sand, scrape or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC.
  • Exposure to lead dust may cause serious illness and brain damage especially in children. Pregnant women must also avoid the lead exposure.
  • NIOSH-approved respirator should be worn to control the lead exposure.
  • Clean up should be done carefully with a wet mop and a HEPA vacuum.
  • Wear appropriate protection since the sanding or scraping pressure treated lumber can be really hazardous.
  • Combustible liquid and vapour.
  • Contains alkyd resin and petroleum distillates. Vapour is harmful and may affect the nervous system or brain resulting in nausea, headache or dizziness as well as nose, skin, eye and throat irritation.
  • Don't take internally and keep away from children.
