Description

ACRYLIC CONCRETE PAVING COATING

Colourant Acrylic Concrete and Paving paint is a high-performance, ready-to-use, solvent-based floor paint that resists hot tire pick-up and marring. The finish is highly resistant to chemicals, oil, which reduces the need for maintenance of hard-to-clean interior or exterior floors. This durable, flat finish floor paint also resists scuffing, fading, cracking, peeling and blistering.

Interior or Exterior surfaces such as: Porous Concrete, Masonry, Stone and Brick. Ideal for horizontal surfaces

Surface Preparation  

New and Uncoated Concrete or Masonry Surfaces must cure for a minimum of 30 days. For proper penetration and adhesion of topcoat, use a product cleaner & etcher to clean and etch the surface.  



Application
  • Intermix all cans of same product to ensure color uniformity. 
  • Stir before applying. 
  • Use product when air and surface temperatures are between 10-32°C. 
  • Apply a thin, even coat using a 3/8" nap roller cover, pad applicator or a nylon/polyester brush.
  • Allow first coat to dry 24 hours before deciding if a second coat is necessary. 
  • For uniformity apply a second coat (in a criss-cross direction). 
  • DO NOT APPLY MORE THAN TWO COATS. 
  • An annual touch-up may be required in areas subject to tire traffic.

FIRST AID 

  • If you experience difficulty in breathing, leave the area to obtain fresh air.
  • If continued difficulty is experienced, get medical assistance immediately. 
  • If skin or hair contact occurs, immediately remove any contaminated and wash skin and hair thoroughly with running water.
  • If swelling, redness, blistering or irritation occurs seek medical assistance.
  • If in eyes, wash out immediately with water. In all cases of eye contamination it is a sensible precaution to seek medicaladvice.


Clean Up  

  • Use Thinners.
  • Properly dispose of all soiled rags and protect unused product from freezing.
  • For disposal of unused paint products, please contact your household refuse collection service.

RECOMMENDATIONS  

  • Stir the content well before use.


SAFETY POINTS AND STORAGE CONDITIONS :

  • Keep the can can in dry , cool place and far from the direct sunlight.
  • Keep the can closed after use. It is recommended to use this product before the expire date (  Maximum 4  months).
  • While applying , use a suitable air conditioning and leave the doors and windows open.

DO NOT OPEN CAN WITHOUT READING THESE INSTRUCTIONS.  

WARNING  
If you scrape, sand or remove old paint, you may release lead dust. LEAD IS TOXIC. EXPOSURE TO LEAD DUST CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ILLNESS, SUCH AS BRAIN DAMAGE, ESPECIALLY IN CHILDREN. PREGNANT WOMEN SHOULD ALSO AVOID EXPOSURE. Wear a NIOSH-approved respirator to control lead exposure. Clean up carefully with a HEPA vacuum and a wet mop .
Sanding or scraping pressure treated lumber may be hazardous; wear appropriate protection.

DANGER  

Do not store unused product inside the home.
